Why 50/50 On The Water?

The 50/50 On The Water campaign aims to inspire more women to get out on the water and discover the joys of fly-fishing. By breaking down some of the barriers that keep women from enjoying time on the stream, we can add new perspectives and bring new voices into the sport. And if we are going to protect what we love through conservation efforts, the more voices the better.
This event will be a great opportunity for us all to come together, socialize, and watch films dedicated to women and their journey through life and fly fishing. We will have raffle prizes, chapter booths and more! A food truck will be on site for dinner (come early if you plan to eat). The brewery will have a nice selection of beer, wine, cider and soft drinks available.
Tickets are on sale NOW for just $8.00 per person, and seating is limited. Ticket sales benefit coldwater conservation and education programs in North Carolina.
If your chapter is interested in having a table at the Film Tour to promote events and membership please contact Jessica Whitmire, the director of the NCTU Diversity and Inclusion Initiative, as soon as possible. A limited number of table spaces are available.
