Blue Ridge TU
The Blue Ridge Chapter of Trout Unlimited is dedicated to conserving, protecting, and restoring trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds. The chapter was chartered June 26, 1970 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as a chapter of the national association, Trout Unlimited.
Part of the North Carolina State Council of Trout Unlimited, the Blue Ridge chapter is one of fourteen chapters in North Carolina, and serves about 500 members.
As a conservation organization, our goal is to restore and maintain the environment of coldwater fisheries in North Carolina by fundraising and participating in on-stream restoration, youth and adult education, and by introducing the fun and pleasure derived from learning to enjoy the art of fly fishing with a group of like-minded angler-conservationists.
If you’re in the Winston-Salem area and would like to get involved or just to learn a little more, we hope you’ll join us at one of our upcoming meetings. Check the website in the section below for specific dates, times and locations for those meetings plus many other events we sponsor or in which we participate. We’re a very active chapter, and we’d love for you to join us.
