Nat Greene Fly Fishers
The Nat Greene Flyfishers are the Greensboro, NC affiliate chapter of both Trout Unlimited (TU) and the International Federation of Fly Fishermen (IFFF), national conservation organizations dedicated to maintaining our cold water resources. Past club conservation efforts have included stream cleanups, stream restoration, and support of local, state, and national fish and wildlife agencies in an effort to insure the preservation of our cold water fisheries.
Nat Greene takes an active role in educating our local children, adults, and scouting organizations in the principles of conservation, ecosystem management, and in introducing them to the enjoyment of tying, casting, and fishing artificial flies.
In addition to providing financial and volunteer assistance to conservation groups, the club arranges numerous “fun” fishing outings throughout the year. Also, our more experienced members share their expertise with fly tying, casting, fishing techniques, rod building, and other activities with the entire club. We welcome your support and participation!
